Pumpkin Patch

The weekend before Halloween, we met up with the Hicklens for lunch and a trip to Lucky Ladds Pumpkin Patch.  It's about 30 minutes from our house, and totally worth the drive. They had so much to do, the girls had a blast!

Harper loved riding her "Princess Pony" (she had a tiara on her head).

She also loves riding any kind of "choo choo".

After the train, we ran into Harper's friend from school, Ava (I work with her mom).  The girls had on matching outfits.
After the "rides", the girls had a blast on the slides.  I think this was their favorite part of the whole place.

Harper would fly down the slides and beg to do it again.

We had such a great time!  I can't wait to make this a new family tradition.

Beach Vacation

We recently got back from a vacation with our friends, the Buckleys.
We rented a mini van and all loaded up!
They have one son, 4 month old Bryce.
I was suffering from morning sickness most of the trip...but it's better to look at the beach than my desk when you feel bad, right?!
Harper did a pretty good job driving down there. Traveling with an infant and toddler delays things a bit.
Our former beach/ocean lover was a little hesitant this time around.
Once her daddy took in the water, she was good to go!
She did prefer to spend a lot of time in the sand building castles this trip.

View from our balcony.

Carey and Harper dancing at dinner!

The weather this trip was amazing. I was in the low 80s with a nice cool breeze.
I will push for a Florida vacation in October any day!

12 weeks along and showing like crazy already.

Our little beach bum!

What a gorgeous view from the baclony.
Oh and you see you those three little figures in the middle of the water?
That is Josh, James, and Corbin on their paddle boards.

Josh loved it!
I couldn't resist getting a few nap pictures.
She always looks so peaceful when she naps.

Our last night, we took pictures with the sunset, had a nice dinner, and just enjoyed our time together.

Crazy to think this time next we will have two more kids in the mix.

I love the concentration on her face.

She loved hugging the pumpkins outside of the restaurant.

On the way home, we used every source of entertainment possible...
Even pretending she had a boo boo and used fruit loops as an ice pack.

Peek-a-boo!
Seriously, the car ride home is always a little long.
Harper was a trooper!
Thanks for such a great trip Carey and James!
