Harper's Birthday Part 2

Sunday night, we got together at Bossy and Paw Paw's house to celebrate Harper and Grandma Anna's birthdays.

Aunt Janis and "Uncle" Josh joined us!

Harper's 12 Month Check-up

Friday, we had Harper's 12 month check-up.

She is on track developmentally and all looks great!

When he checked out her mouth, he noticed the molars starting to swell in her gums.

Lately, she has been chewing on her hands and pulling at her ears...sign of teething.

He said it looks like the molars will be cutting through in the near future...fun times, I'm sure.

Here are her stats:

Weight: 23.5 lbs - 80th%

(her lowest percentile in weight)

Height: 30.6 inches - 90%

I forgot what they said for head.

Harper's First Birthday

We had a great day celebrating Harper's birthday.

We started of the morning both getting her out of her crib.

She is such a happy baby in the morning...she was so excited we were both in there.

We then treated her to her (first of many) birthday cinnamon roll.

Wasn't quite sure what to do with the cinnamon roll until I cut it up.

Mally was just hoping she would throw the whole thing on the ground.

Let the Sugar Rush Begin!

After breakfast, Harper opened her presents from Uncle Nate, Aunt Ash, and Dagan.

She loved opening the presents...

and had so much fun with her new puzzles.

Once she got up for her morning nap...Sugar Rush to Sugar Crash...I got her ready or the day.

Her skirt was a little big...so we had a last minute outfit change before heading off with Katie and Susie.

After work, we had Nana and the Gov over for a yummy Lasagna dinner.

She loved her new chair from Mommy and Daddy.

After dinner and playtime, we ventured out to Sweet Cece's.

MORE SUGAR PLEASE!

she loved playing with the spoon, talking to the other tables, and asking or "mo" (more).

I think the Sugar went to her head. I came back from the kitchen and found her like this.

I have a feeling her daddy had something to do with it.

Just before bedtime, we FaceTimed with Dagan. 

He sang happy birthday to Harper, then to Josh, then tried to have a virtual pillow fight with us.

Harper loved it.

After a very long and exhausting day...we ended where it began...all 3 in the nursery.
