Thanksgiving 2013

For Thanksgiving this year, we went to Josh's Grandmother's house.
We spend the night on Wednesday with Cousins, Aunt/Uncle, Nana, and Grandmother
Gov joined us on Thanksgiving day.
I didn't get many pictures, but Harper had a blast!

Excited about her playdough.
Showing off her outfit for me
Pretending to eat her jello.
Kissing herself in the mirror.
We all just love Harper!
Mally also had a great time. She always feels right at home with Grandmother.
Once the Gov arrived, Harper got in some quality time...Dancing and Lounging.

Before we headed home, I snapped this quick picture of Harper, Josh, and her Great Grandmother.
How special we get to spend this time together.

New Playset

A few weeks ago, Nana and the Gov surprised Harper with her early Christmas present.
She was so excited to see her new playset!

After we played for a bit, we went to dinner and had some yogurt!

We are so excited and I know Harper is really looking forward to this spring.

Update on the Twins

Hello!  I am a little behind on the twin update.  I have been dealing with a lot of morning sickness, a toddler, and work...so I forget to blog sometimes.  Thankfully, all is going well in the baby "baking" department.  They are making me sick...which is a great sign!  Yesterday (at 17 1/2 weeks) I really felt the flutters from both of them.  I was feeling small "pokes" here and there for the last few days.  But yesterday...it was like they were wrestling.  :) We go back in a few weeks to find out the gender, see the brain, heart, and limbs.
{Harper at 16 weeks on the left and Twins at 17 weeks on the right}
You can see the misery on my face. Hopefully, the morning sickness will pass soon. I started feeling better at 19 weeks with Harper, so I am hoping for the same (PLEASE!!) with the twins.
We haven't had an official talk with Harper about me being pregnant, but the other night she did mention a baby in my belly and said there were 3 in there.  Thankfully, just two! :) We will probably talk to her more when we start doing a nursery and once we know the sex of each baby.

Justin Timberlake in Nashville

I was so excited that we were able to take some clients to go see Justin Timberlake with the company box seats.  I love a free show!  Plus, I feel the twins needed to hear a little live music.  It was a great show and a fun date night!  We met up with Keith and Sarah at the Southern for dinner and then took in the 20/20 Experience!

Us, Lately

Because I have been dealing with a lot of morning sickness, Harper has been a good sport "Lounging" with mommy.  Here are some pics of the last few weeks.
Silly girl trying to cheer me up.

Putting on her make up before school & work.

Hanging out at Nana and the Govs

Icing her "boo boo". It was actually on her forehead. Silly girl.
Just hanging with my kiddos before bed.

Putting all her babies to sleep

Mommy/Daughter date while daddy had a client dinner.  We had so much fun.

Family dinner out.  These two make my heart melt!

Falling for Fall

It was so nice out this past weekend, we decided to go outside and play in the leaves.  There is nothing sweeter than the joy on your child's face.  Oh the little things.  Her laughter is contagious.

Halloween Festivities

If you know me, you know that Halloween is one of my favorite (if not very favorite) holidays.  Since I am still battling with the morning sickness...Harper took on most of the festivities for the family.  Here are Harper's outfits of the week and Halloween Adventures.

This wig was for Josh's Richard Simmons costume.  Harper loves wearing "daddy's hat". haha.

We had a Halloween wedding shower.  Richard Simmons and Pregnant with Twins.
At Harper's school, they planted pumpkin seeds and the next day, they had magic pumpkins!  Harper got to bring this one home.
Her school also does a Costume Parade for Halloween week.  Here is Harper with her class and she is the cowgirl.
I couldn't let her see me, or I would have never been able to keep her in her classroom.  I hid behind a friend and got some cute shots.

She loved the parade and loved seeing Mommy in her classroom with all her friends after (daddy was out of town for work).
My sweet little halloween angel! She looks so cute here...I JUST LOVE IT!

Posing with the family pumpkins.
Two baby pumpkins and one for Harper.
Since we had such bad weather on the 31st, Brentwood changed Halloween to Nov.1.  We went over to the Hicklens for trick or treating.  This was Harper's first time and she had a blast.
Mary Whitley as Snow White
Snow White and (Audrey) Ariel
The Wonka Clan. We have Willy Wonka, an Ooompa Loompa, and A Wonka Bar.

Daddy is showing Harper and Audrey videos of Oompa Loompas.
In the beginning, Harper would stand at the back of the porch to trick or treat.
But once she got the hang of it, she would just walk right up and grab her own candy. Sorry neighbors!
Kim and Patrick live near the Pastinas, so we stopped in to see Chris (the rest of the fam was out).
We were out for almost 2 hours and the girls were great...they also loved eating candy along the way!

Happy Halloween 2013!
