Thanksgiving

Every Thanksgiving we head to Josh's grandmother's house and celebrate with his family.  This would be the first road trip for the boys...and they did great!

I love these three!

and here is what real life looks like when taking a picture with 3 kids.

Eli also got to come learn more about Thanksgiving and our American tradition.

We had the best time!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

First Snow of the Season

Earlier this week, we woke up to our first snow of the season.
We were surprised at how early it is in the season.
Harper was just excited!
We strapped on the boots and jacket and let her play in her pjs for a few minutes before school.

I think Eli was just as excited! She can't wait for a big snow. :)

This past month (Gatlin & Houston 7-8)

This past month we have been busy busy!
Fall is such a fun time of year and it kicks of the holiday season.
Here (in no particular order) is what we have been up to this last month.
Got these boys out for a walk in their side by side stroller.
Little outdoor teething session
Showing off her Elsa braid
Deep in thought during our family photoshoot
a little baby wrestling
Houston showing how flexible he is
Practicing her smile before school pictures.
baby lashes!
Cute boys (gatlin on the left and houston on the right)
Just morning cartoons before school.
Gatlin has rolled his way over to Mally.
I told her to give me a silly face...she smiled perfectly.
This is me about to lose my mind when i had to hold both babies for 30 minutes to get them to sleep. Harper was napping and josh wasn't home. They were both sick and this was the only thing that calmed them.  It was super sweet b/c it's rare to cuddle these days...but the screaming almost got to me.
Beautiful sunset where Harper told me she loved when the sky "goes from blue to pink".
Houston looking at the handsome baby in the mirror.
Happy Girl before School
Harper entertaining (sick) Houston while I rock Gatlin to sleep.
Oh, and there is a foot!
This princess decided her brothers needed toys...a crown for Gatlin and wand for Houston.
Nap time!
Date night. Josh and I attended a wedding downtown. It was nice to finally get out, just the two of us!
Sick baby snuggles. love that sleepy smile!
Sitting up! they love their new play nook.
Rolling with Boppy and Memaw.
Swinging!  Yay for time outside.

8 Months old

I don't know why, but 8 months old seems like a long time.
It has gone by really fast, but they all of the sudden seem so much older.
I think maybe because they are sitting up.
Since they were premies, a lot of their developmental milestones will hit about 6 weeks after full term babies.  This is something that has significantly changed our household.
They are also starting to recover from a chest cold they have had for 7 weeks and (both) double ear infections.
Here are their 8 month photos!

Oh how we just love these happy boys!
