We had such a blessed 2013 and can't wait for 2014.
We are going to have major changes in the upcoming year and are so thankful to God for our many blessings.
Harper had pink eye, so we cancelled our plans and stayed in.

A few days off and time with the Booths

Harper was so excited to have her cousin in town for Christmas week.  I was so excited to have my sister. We spent many days together just hanging out at our house or Bossy and Pawpaws.
Harper loved her new dress up bin from Elfie.
Once Harper decided on her outfit, she went ahead and assinged some to the rest of us.
All very good sports!
Harper and Sloan chillin.  Baby Sloan will be walking before we know it.
We did a little post Christmas shopping...mainly for baby gear!

Sloan is one happy camper.
Aubrie surprised us all by throwing on her wedding dress. ha!
Harper took her "duties" very seriously.

She kept saying "I want a married, I want a married".  So we found a short dress Ashley wore for her reception and pinned it on Harper.  Inspired by these two, I decided to bust out mine.  Notice the "pregnant bride" in the mirror? ha!
Harper was so sad when we made her take it off.
One of Harper's favorite gifts was an outfit that matched Bitty Baby.
Over the break, she told me she was making on outfit for Baby Sloan. Such a good helper.
After got all her Princess's to sleep, she took a nap too.

Elfie, Our Elf on The Shelf

This year, we got a surprise visitor from the North Pole, Elfie.
Our elf is a girl and she arrived with Harper's favorite treat, Fruit Snacks!
Harper was so excited to have a new visitor.  We immediately ate our snacks and read the book Elfie brought.
Since we get to name her, we tossed around a few ideas and landed on Elfie (Harper says Elthie).  It's the perfect name for our girl elf.

Every morning, Harper would leap into our arms to go find Elfie. She couldn't do anything else until we found her.  {Day 2,3,4}
You can't touch Elfie or she will lose her magic.  So Elfie mainly stayed in out of the way locations.  Every night she goes home to report to Santa on how Harper is behaving. {Day 5 & 6}

Harper was pumped when Elfie left her a dress to wear to school.  Elfie even had a matching skirt.

Over the weekend, Elife stayed at our house while Harper spent the night with Bossy and Paw Paw. She got a note from Elife and a hat like hers.  Harper couldn't wait to show Elfie her hat when she came home. {Day 7}
Elfie also brought Harper some Christmas bows to wear to school (For pics with Santa).  I also started losing track of the days. But everyday, we found Elfie in a new spot!

Elfie Brought Harper matching Elf Pajamas.

Harper likes it when Elfie brings gifts.  Especially when it means craft time with Daddy.
On Elfie's last day with us (in 2013), she left Harper a pretty awesome gift.  Harper got a dress up bin and mirror.  Elfie left her a sweet note about being a good girl all year and she would see her (and her brothers) next year.  We love you Elfie!

Gatlin Family Christmas

On Christmas day, we left Josh's side of the family and headed home to see my side of the family.
Last year, everyone was out of town during the holidays, so it was nice to get to spend time with them this year.  Plus, added bonus, my cousin Kirstin, and her family, live here now...so we had a big celebration.
Grandma Anna and Harper watching bubble guppies.
Baby Sloan is here! Harper was so excited.
I think Sloan was pretty excited too!
Pajama Party Christmas at Bossy and PawPaw's house.
Ashley, Nate, Dagan, and Gage celebrated from California.
Lovin' on baby Sloan

More Christmas excitement for Harper

Saying a prayer with the family.
I feel truly blessed the L.Gatlins, Memaw & Boppy, Grandma Anna, and my family were able to celebrate together.  I was a child the last time we all lived in the same state.  It was nice to get together.

Josh seems very thrilled to hold up some goodies for our baby boys.

We spent the night at Bossy and Pawpaws.  The next day, we went home to unload and unwind.
Harper got to open her stocking that Santa filled while we were out of town.

Overall, we had such a blessed and Merry Christmas.  Harper started to grasp the concept of Santa, along with talks of baby Jesus.  She is so loved by all of our family members.  We cherish these innocent times and look forward to many, many, many more to come!
