New Years Eve - 2015

Happy New Year!
This year, we celebrated at the Pitta's house with the Vitucci's.
It's amazing how much our playdates have changed. Just 14 months ago, we had three little girls running around.  Now we have 3 girls PLUS 4 boys in the mix!
I'm excited to see how things change over the next few years with the kids.
Boys with their bats and pink balls!

We had a countdown at 8:43pm! Woo Hoo!
We are crazy.

Happy New Year Everyone!
May it be a blessed 2015!

Chattanooga - First Overnight Trip As A Family of 5

Just before the new year, we decided to take a quick trip to Chattanooga.  We had several days off work and knew we would get cabin fever if we stayed home. We left Tuesday morning and our first stop was the Creative Discovery Museum.  Harper had a blast!

I think the boys did too!

After a few hours of play, I took the boys to the hotel and Josh and Harper played some more.

Eventually, everyone napped.
After naps, we loaded up the van went to Rock City to see the Enchanted Garden of Lights.
Harper got to meet the Snow Queen and sell all kinds of Christmas lights.
The boys didn't seem to care about our adventure...but were good sports in the bjorns.
The next morning, we packed up the hotel and headed to the Aquarium.
We got to see all kinds of stuff.

even Nemo and Dory!

We even go to pet some fish.
Here is Harper, Gatlin, and Houston turtle.
and out of nowhere, Harper named this turtle "grandma anna". made my eyes water a little.
Once we left the aquarium, we went to lunch and headed home for our NYE celebration.
and all 3 kids slept the whole way home!
Even though it wasn't easy traveling for the first time as a family of 5, it sure was fun!

Harper Says

Harper never wants to stay seated during dinner.

Me: Harper, when I was your age, I would get in trouble if I kept leaving the table and didn't finish my dinner.
H: When you were my age?
Me: yes, bossy would get onto me for not staying seated.  And Nana would do the same for Daddy.
H: Well, when i was your age, i told you to sit down and finish your dinner and you would get in trouble.

She Loves "when I was your" age statements...and they are hilarious!
