Harper Says

😛H: are we going to dance or school?
Me: we are going to school. You only have dance on Saturdays.
H: I love dance.
Me: Me too. When I was your age, I took dance too.
H: When I was your age, I watched you on the TV. B/c I was your mommy.
(we can watch her on the TV Screen in the lobby during dance)

Lucky Ladd-2nd Annual

We ventured out to Lucky Ladd Park for our Second Annual Pumpkin Patch Family Outing.
This year, we were excited to take Eli, Gatlin, and Houston.  Lucky Ladd has so much for the kids to do, it is totally worth making the trip!
Harper posing like the Farmer.
Ran into our friends, the Schots, at the petting zoo.
The boys were thrilled.
After 10 minutes, Harper was finally brave enough to feed a goat.

Even Eli got in on the action.
After the zoo, Harper roped a bull!
Bounced on balls...
rode the train...

rode a horse (named chubby)...

rode on the barrel swing with daddy...

and climbed up some tires.
The boys mainly hung out in their stroller and on my/Eli's lap.

Slide Time!

this girl loves a slide!

After all the activities, Harper got her face painted before we went to pick out pumpkins.

Look at these triplets.
Thanks for another great adventure Lucky Ladd!!

Ghouls at Grassmere

Sunday night, we attended Ghouls at Grassmere, at our local Zoo.  Every year, they have trick or treating, different Halloween characters, and a lot of fall fun in the weeks prior to Halloween.  My friend Kim (and her two girls) and I decided to take all 5 kids and see what it was all about.
She brought Cinderella (Mary Whitley, 2) and Rapunzel (Audrey, 4).  I brought Flounder (Houston, 7M), Sebastian (Gatlin, 7M), and Ariel (Harper, 3).
Cute Flounder and Sebasitan from the Little Mermaid
These girls were ready for trick or treating!
They got to see Peppa Pig. Neither wanted to take a picture with her, they just wanted to look from a safe distance.
We saw Merida from Brave.

Let the trick or treating begin!
They were so cute going up to every station.
They also discovered the bubble/foam pit.

Saw some inflatables
and did more trick or treating.
We all stopped to have some dinner before heading over to the "festival" part of the zoo.
At one point, I had Audrey and Harper on the glider board and the boys up front.
People thought I was crazy.
These princess were excited to see their friend Snow White.
They did some dancing in the Kid Disco Tent!  They seriously danced/ran around for 20 minutes. I wish I had their energy.
We even got Gatlin and Houston in on the action.
Before we finished the night, we tried to get a group picture by the pumpkins.
Overall, the girls had the best time and the boys were good sports!
