Renaissance Festival

I was given free passes to the Renaissance Festival, so we thought we would take the kids and see what it was all about.

We didn't really know what to expect when we got there.
There were tents and renaissance characters everywhere...workers and visitors.

Josh walked around with the boys while Harper and I waited in line for face painting. 

While Harper was getting her face painted, the boys met the Queen of the festival!

They looked thrilled, don't they!?!?

We ventured through the pirate maze, played some games, and watched the jousting!

Harper loved watching all the jousting and horse games!

The boys, as always, were troopers and seemed to have a good time.

Just before the real joust, Harper did the dragon joust. She took her sword (in her right hand) and tried to get a hoop off a wooden dragon's hand.  She did pretty good!
