We have lived in this house almost 10 years and I can only remember one power outage through the night. The kids were nervous and thought it was pretty cool. Our next door neighbors lost a tree - so they played in it for hours before bed. It was very dark and very quiet - you better believe I purchased a few extra flashlights/lanterns after this.
