We kicked our 4th of July weekend off with some fireworks.
Bossy & Paw Paw have a great view of the fireworks from BCC.
They do a show every 3rd of July and I am so glad we stayed up to watch them...since it rained on the 4th!
Harper kept saying "pretty firetrucks"
The next {RAINY} day, we wore our patriotic best and got ready for company that night.
Hung out with the Lobsters.
Read a book...sad she couldn't go outside to play.
Had dinner with Audrey (love that her feet are crossed)
Mary Whitley joined in for dessert
Gave hugs to Laura and Dustin's baby
Gave Audrey her birthday present {We weren't sure if we would make it to the party}
Then, didn't want to give up the present.
That Saturday, we spent the evening with Josh's work friends.
Harper predicted that Dustin and Laura are having a boy (I think girl)
Had some "fru nacks" by the fish with daddy
Discovered some Buzz Lightyear (her fave) wings
"to infinity and beyond"
The sweet hosts said their sons don't play with their buzz stuff and gave us a ton of goodies!
Sunday, the sun FINALLY came out!
We met up with Nana and the Gov on the lake.
