Since Gatlin and Houston were very little, there was always a concern for their head shape.
With premies and multiples, there is a bigger risk for flat spots on the head.
Harper had a flat head a little, but she eventually grew out of it.
Becuase of "back is best" sleep positions, being bottle fed on pillows, and the fact that you just can't hold two babies like you can one, these two have spent a lot of time on the back of their heads.
So, we took them to therapy and talked to our insurance about helmets
We decided this is the best decision for them, not only to look at, but to help with alignment, walking, etc.
Here are some picture from the casting and the fitting.
I have to say, these little guys are troopers!

Next up, Gatlin.
2 weeks later, we had new helmets.
In the past, they were colored and filled with foam.
these are clear and have no foam at all.
(PS LOOK AT THOSE SWEET LASHES)

So far so good! Hopefully, they only have to wear them for a few short months.
