Christmas Festivities

This past weekend, we took Josh's Memaw to Opryland Hotel and a Country Christmas with the Gatlin Brothers.  It was so nice to hear the Gatlin Brothers do their Christmas show. I was also excited for Harper to hear her paw paw sing!

Opryland has a huge manger scene that is just beautiful!

Jeanie Sealy was in the audience and they asked her to join them!
Harper loved seeing her paw paw, rudy, and hoppy

Eli and her friend Leidy came with us too!
After the Gatlin Brothers, we all went to see the Grinch
We ran into Cindy Lou Who and her sister backstage.
The next night, I took Harper to see one of my favorite Christmas light houses near us.
She and I both loved it!
and then there is this random Christmas Photo of Gatlin in the "Tree-pee"

Happy Birthday To Me!

Sunday morning, Josh got up early, took the monitor, and got all the kids out of bed.
They made my (traditional) cinnamon rolls and surprised me with breakfast in bed and a birthday present!  Harper was so excited...it was really sweet.
We then hurried to get out the door for church.
After church, we met up with my parents for lunch.
Houston really liked the cake!
So did Gatlin!

Even Elfie got into the birthday celebrations with candles!
Shortly after lunch, I took Harper to a birthday party for a friend.
After we got home, we all had some quiet time before heading out to Jellystone Park to see some Christmas lights!

They were a big hit!
We ended our night at Pie Five and all crashed!

What a day!
What a wonderful day!

Christmas Spirit

This year, I decided our Christmas decor needed a little update.
I went to Hobby Lobby one hour after landing from Texas and got supplies.
Over the next day or so, I updated our mantle and outside decor.
I had a little helper too!

And after a lot of convincing and my birthday ... Bossy and Harper got us these festive read lights for the house.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
