CMA Fest 2017

When we got a last minute call from our friends with free CMA Fest tickets we said yes!  It's rare that we have date nights and one that includes live music and great friends is always fun!  We called our babysitter and she was free (yay summer)!  We met up with Tiffany & Corbin and had super fun night!

It's Football Time in Tennessee

GO BIG ORANGE!
I have not been back to Knoxville in YEARS.
I cannot remember the last game I have attended.
I was pretty excited when Josh said he got us tickets to the Florida Game (minus my fear of getting a migraine in the heat).  It was a checker board game and were in the orange section.
We BEAT Florida!
What a win and first game back!
GO VOLS!

My Work Christmas Party

This past weekend, we attending my work Christmas Party at the Omni Nashville.
The kids were with grand parents and we headed downtown for a fun night!
Since I help plan our events, I was upgraded to a suite upon arrival.

We were pumped at our amazing views!
We were also delivered a bottle a wine and small platter.
Josh put on his Christmas best and was the hit of the party!

We had a blast at the dinner and managed to drag our old selves out to Broadway!

Josh was even invited on Stage b/c of his epic suit!

All the ladies wanted to take pictures with him.
It was comical!
The next day, we were able to see some of the Downtown Nashville Christmas Parade before enjoying brunch at Kitchen Notes!
I was pumped to finally try the biscuit bar!

Overall, we had a wonderful time!

Birthday celebrations

Josh and I have December birthdays.  This year, each of our birthdays happened to fall on the day of our Christmas parties at work.  Thursday, December 5th, Bossy and Pawpaw took us to dinner to celebrate.
I didn't get a group picture, but I did get a good one of Harper enjoying the ice cream.

The next day, Josh came through with my traditional birthday breakfast, Cinnamon Rolls. We have been doing the Cinnamon Rolls in my family for as long as I can remember.  He and Harper brought me breakfast in bed ... just before work.
Harper told me she was going to "sit by mommy" at eat hers.
That night, Bossy picked up Harper and Josh and I headed downtown to the Hutton Hotel for my company Christmas party.

We felt the boys needed to be represented in this picture!
The following week, we celebrated with Josh...yes, I am 8 days older.
Harper spent the weekend with Grandmother, Memaw, Nana and the Gov. This was a quick pic before she departed. I surprised Josh with his present...and he was pumped.
Beats Solo by Dre.  They are headphones that block out noise.  He was so excited about them that he was almost late to his Christmas party.

We had a great time celebrating Josh at his Christmas party.  The next day, his family came over for a little birthday lunch.
32 is not the most thrilling birthday in the world, but we enjoyed ourselves.
Happy Birthday to Us!

Justin Timberlake in Nashville

I was so excited that we were able to take some clients to go see Justin Timberlake with the company box seats.  I love a free show!  Plus, I feel the twins needed to hear a little live music.  It was a great show and a fun date night!  We met up with Keith and Sarah at the Southern for dinner and then took in the 20/20 Experience!
