4th of July Weekend

What a great 4th of July Weekend!
We packed a lot in a few days.  We spent time on the lake, at the pool, and got to watch fireworks with the boys for the first time!

God Bless America!

4th of July

This year, we had a low key 4th of july with some friends, the pool, and the boat.
The fireworks were rained out...but I didn't mind b/c it was a school night.
Harper and Josh enjoyed them on the boat the day before!
We kicked off the long weekend with Red, White, and Blue day at school.
They made cakes in each class

After school, the boys got a haircut and everyone enjoyed the cake from their class!
On the 4th, we celebrated with some Mexican - go America! ha.
Memaw and Boppy met us there.

Later, we spent time at the pool and our friends, the Hicklens joined us!
We ended with a movie in the basement!

Fourth of July

God Bless America!

Fun pool tricks with mom!
That night, we went downtown to a condo that Josh's company is working on. We had excellent views of downtown.  It was the perfect spot to take Eli, our Colombian au pair.
We went all out on the glow apparel...so did Bossy (she sent us with a huge bag)

Even the boys got in on it.

Josh and Harper watched most of the show on the balcony.  I fed the boys inside, but still had an amazing view.

once i was done, we went outside to see what it was all about.

Happy Birthday America!!
