5K for Waves of Grace

Walk For Waves
Run For Rest

This past weekend I participated in the St.Jude Marathon by walking the 5K for Waves of Grace.
It is an inspiring walk...especially b/c I spent the morning with Cynthia, a woman who had a chemo treatment two days prior.  She was amazing! What a fun way to give back!

5K for Waves of Grace

This year, Bossy and I participated in the Waves of Grace 5K
(during the St. Jude Half/Full Marathon).
The weather was so hot, they moved the start time to 6:30 am!
We walked on behalf of Waves of Grace, my friends non-profit that sends cancer patients on an all expenses paid beach vacation.  I raised just over $2000, thanks to many of you!
This was my first 5K and it couldn't have been better!
We were even able to finish up fast enough to go cheer on my friends running the half!

Rare Adult Time

Josh and I had the fortune of attending two weddings in Florida, two weekends in a row.
First Up, Corbin and Tiffany!

(facetime with Harper to see Corbin & Tiffany Dance)

Up Next, Brett and Christin's Wedding

We really enjoyed the chance to spend a few days together at the beach.
The next weekend, we headed to the Waves of Grace silent auction and Autism Tennessee silent auction.  At the second event, we danced all night to Rubix Groove.

It has been really nice to have some adult time with friends.
