This year, we celebrated Thanksgiving with both families.
After work on Wednesday, we packed up the car headed west to Big Sandy, TN.
We spent the night at Josh's grandmother's house and celebrated with his family on Thursday.
Rigged up the iPad for the car ride down...we were hoping she would go "night night" for most of the car ride...not so much. She finally went down shortly after arriving at Grandmother's house...at 10:30 pm.
Thursday, this little turkey was ready for celebration.
We did some exploring outside
Nana and the Gov took her to see Gale (neighbor down the street)
Weston and Harper
After lunch, it was nap time...
even for Daddy.
We played our annual game of croquet.
(Lily & the Gov)
Harper played her own version of croquet.
They kept making fun of my jacket i borrowed...I was just proving how cool it really was! :)
That night, we headed home...again, during bed time.
This time, she fell asleep at normal time and transitioned from the car to the bed very well.
We were then greeted with Aubrie and Brandon who were staying at our house.
Harper was really excited to see her Aunt RB and Uncle Bran.
We played, cuddled, and watched Fresh Beat Band before heading over to Bossy and Pawpaw's house for Friday Thanksgiving.
We celebrated with the Gatlin/Booth clan on Friday.
Uncle Brandon is a great turkey slicer.
Harper decided to sample a few things before we sat down for dinner.
Including a sample of pie ...look at her up on her toes.
BUSTED!
Didn't stop her from going back for more.
Little stinker!
Uncle Josh
Nap time!
Pointing to her cousin, Sloan.
Happy Bossy!
Lip gloss and a softball...that's my girl!
Kisses for Daddy
Memaw and Boppy came in town to celebrate with us.
We had a wonderful time with extended family on both sides.
We hope you and your loved ones had a safe and fun Thanksgiving!
