Over the weekend, we celebrated Audrey's 2nd birthday at Monkey's Treehouse.

This was Harper's first time at an indoor play place and she loved it!

My Mazel of the Day

What's a Mazel of the day?  Only the coolest award given out by Andy Cohen, host of Watch What Happens Live on Bravo.  I love anything bravo...and Andy Cohen.  

Last year at my baby shower, my mom (also a big fan) got me the Mazel onesie.

After waiting over a year, the onesie fits!

Ok...that's great and all...but now why I am posting.  I am writing b/c I posted on Twitter, a picture of Harper in a Mazel onesie and tagged Andy Cohen...

Then, an hour later...he responded!!

Totally made my days..especially since I had a very sleepy baby on my hands-that didn't want to Nap!

4th of July

We had a fun and busy 4th of July.  Our morning started off with a little playtime before we hit the pool!  Ashley and Dagan were in town, so we had a small family gathering at our house during the day. 

After playtime, we hit the pool and hung out with Bossy, Pawpaw, Tracy, and Janis.

After the pool day and arrival of Aubrie, we headed over to the Goodrich's house for more fun!

We had a blast at the Goodrich's and decided that our night shouldn't end there.

On a last minute whim, we headed over the Indian point to watch the fireworks at Crockett Park.

Last year, I was 8 months pregnant with Harper and Josh and I decided (last minute again) to go see the fireworks.  We had no idea how she would like them this year.  To our delight, she was mesmerized!

We kept her up 2 hours past her bed time, but she was happy and enjoyed the show!

Feeding Herself...with a Spoon

If you read any of the baby books...they say to let children explore while eating.

if they show interest in using utensils, let them try.

well, for the last few days, Harper has tried to grab the spoon everytime I try to feed her.

So, we decided to let her try it.

So far so good...actually getting all the food in her mouth.

Starting to think we are succeeding at this whole spoon thing.

I mean, dont all children learn in 2 bites!?!?!

And then...food on the shades!

Let's just say that was our last attempt with the spoon for that meal.
