BMS Dance Team

This past week, Harper tried out for the Brentwood Middle dance team. This was her first time trying out for anything in her life. We were both a ball of nerves. She had a few days to learn the choreography and then an one-hour clinic. It was pretty surreal. She literally stood in the cafeteria and walked into the gym for her tryout, just like I did 29 years earlier. She was excited to be trying out with her friend Reagan. She was 41 out of about 50 girls.  We left the tryout and grabbed dinner…where we found out who made it! I cried getting to show her she is the newest member of the BMS JV dance team.
