Baby Booth Baby Shower

Just after Thanksgiving, we held a baby shower for Aubrie and baby Booth.
We catered Moe's (pretty sure everyone was over Turkey) and had such a lovely time.

Harper joined the party for a few minutes...before heading downstairs to play with Uncle Brandon.
She just loves her Aunt RB
Just hanging with the girls
It was so great planning around the holidays so Aubrie had friends in town to celebrate!
This baby is so loved already!
Aubrie and her pregnant friends.
Mom, Grandma Anna, Aubrie, and Me...and then someone's head at the bottom.
Can't wait to meet baby Booth!

Happy Birthday Josh & Jesus

Over the weekend, we did some celebrating for Josh and Jesus!
Friday morning, we had traditional cinnamon rolls with Daddy and gave him his presents.
Happy Birthday Daddy! Here is your card and a kiss.
More cards and kisses.
Yummy, cinnamon rolls in bed again!
Later that day, we visited Daddy at work.  It was a lot of fun.
The next day, we went to a "Happy Birthday Jesus" pancake breakfast at the Lowe's house.
It was lot of fun!
Audrey, Mary Whitley, Harper, Landry, and Robbins all had on matching pjs.
Sweet hugs and kisses for Landry
Cupcakes and pancakes...breakfast of champions!
Ornament decorating...such a cute idea and fun party!

Christmas Fun at the Library

At the beginning of December, I took Harper to the Brentwood Library for a little Christmas fun.
When we first got there, we saw the Matwijec's sitting with Santa.

Callie and Harper happened to have on matching dresses!
Such cute little girls!
After playing with Callie and Coop for a little bit, we saw Hayes and Charlie.
Harper loved seeing the "baby".

She did not love seeing Santa.
So here we are...the 3 of us.
Happy girl with her balloon!
We did a little more playing before heading home.
This tired girl held her balloon the whole way home.
Tis the Season!

My Birthday Week

Last week was a very eventful birthday week.  I had a great time and did a lot of celebrating.  Josh made our traditional birthday cinnamon rolls.  Harper loved eating breakfast in bed with us!
Yummy!
Face full of cinnamon rolls.
That night, we went to Arrington vineyards for a small celebration.
We had a little birthday cake with Harper before we left.
Over the weekend, we had Josh's Christmas party.
It was a good night with good food and good friends.
and...
I'm officially closer to 40 than 20.

Grammy Nomination Ceremony

Earlier tonight, I was driving home from work with Harper.  I got a text from the girl I used to babysit for...
The Grammy  Nomination concert was at Bridgestone arena and I had an invite!
I talked to Josh and we made it happen...after all, it was my "Birthday Eve".
We got home, I fed Harper, got her bag ready for the next day, Alex arrived, we got ready (very quickly), and then we were off.
I wasn't sure what to expect...but was pleasantly surprised when we were in the 5th row, next to the stage.
She has the pose down...I need to work on mine.
LL Cool J with a pre-show performance

Taylor Swift and LL Cool J were the hosts of the show
All these pictures were taken from my seat...pretty nice view.
Fun performed with an orchestra...it was awesome.
Maroon 5 sang a song for the show, then they stayed and performed 5 or 6 additional songs...like a mini concert. It was awesome. Adam Levine is amazing.
{See video clip for a peak at their performance}
My hot date, Alex
Luke Bryan
We were so close, we got some confetti from Luke's performance.
Ne-yo was up next.  He was awesome. Loved the singing and the dancing.
This guy, "Tony", was security. We made uncomfortable eye contact so many times...I had to take a pic.
Hunter Hayes was sitting 3 rows ahead of me. Every time he was on camera, I CHEESED it up, hoping to be on TV.
Thanks for such a fun night Alex! I had a blast.

**UPDATE**
After the show, I found these shot of us on TV.
Easier to see our faces on the actual TV.
Here we are again...reading the teleprompter.
and for the money shot...
Yes, that is me with an equally large smile as Hunter Hayes.
and again...what am i doing? the Arsenio Hall? WOOP WOOP WOOP.
