Fathers Day Weekend

This Father's Day weekend, we celebrated on the boat and at home.
Josh loves being on the water, so it was only fitting that were able to go out with Harper and a few friends for Father's Day.
Josh wakeboarding.
So pumped he hit two backrolls in one set...I think it's called a backroll.
Looks like being 30 isn't slowing him down!

After the boat, we had dinner with Nana and The Gov.
Josh opened one of his gifts early...b/c I was so excited about it!
Harper was pretty excited about the tissue paper!

Little stinker

I made him a father's day book starting with pictures from the hospital.
this is the last page...and my favorite!
Father's Day morning, Harper gave him his other present.
A griddle! He is was pumped.  He immediately went to the store to buy pancake mix so we could have pancakes!
After breakfast, we headed to church.
I had to sneak a picture of Harper in the "little movers" classroom.

Leaving church and lunch at Royal Thai.

Happy Father's Day to the best Daddy Around!
We love you so much!

Pulling Up

Last week, Harper started pulling up on all kinds of furniture.
I was able to capture this one on video.
(ignore my beautiful voice)
It amazes me how much she grows everyday!

Mom-ma

Over Memorial weekend, Harper said her first word: Mom-ma.
She said it once and it caught my attention.
Then, all of the sudden, she couldn't stop saying it.
This "Mom-ma" was thrilled!
I know she doesn't know the meaning just yet...but I asked around and people said to count it as her first word. So Mom-ma (how she breaks up the word) it is!

Harper on Etsy

When Harper was 7 Months, she was invited to participate in a photo shoot for the Etsy shop: Roots, Wings, Kids.
I was thrilled...b/c that meant more professional pictures of Harper!
I love these tutus and the pictures!

Homecoming in West, TN

Sunday, we headed to West, TN to attend a Homecoming Celebration at Josh's Grandmother's church.
This was a great opportunity for Harper to see her extended family, especially her great grandmother!
I didn't take a lot of pictures b/c there was a lot going on...so here are the few that I did take.

Low Down

Now that Harper is crawling and sitting up, we felt it was time to lower her crib mattress.
One morning, I found her with arm propped up on the side of her crib, like "What up mom?"  Then, during her afternoon nap, I found her like this...
(Sorry it's dark-This was during nap time)
Oh yah, it was time!
So that night, Daddy came back in town and I put him to work!

Josh and our friend Corbin

so now, she can happily play, crawl, or sleep in her crib and I am not worried about her hanging over the side.
