Last Day of School 2020-2021

HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? I say it every year. I cannot believe we have completed another school year.  It was certainly a different year than any other.  After not finishing the last two months the year prior, we were all ready to get back to school.  We experienced Covid in our household, we had a few quarantine days, we had some virtual school days, the kids wore masks, the played with only their classmates at recess, and ate in their classroom. I love comparing the photos from the first day of school to the last day...looks they have all grown a few inches! 

 We are excited for a mask break and some fun in the sun! Bring it on Summer. 

Disney World - FINALLY!

We finally made it to Disney World! 

After experiencing one of the craziest years of our lives, we were finally able to  reschedule our Disney Trip for the boys 6th birthday...11 months later.  As a reminder, we were planning a trip for the boys birthday during their first official Spring Break...then the world shut down b/c of Covid-19.   There are still a few restrictions - less character visits, face masks, no fast passes, etc...but it was still wonderful. We even added a day trip to Universal Studios for some thrill seeking! Here is our amazing vacation in pictures. 

Day 1: Hollywood Studios 

Day 2: Magic Kingdom (Supposed to be there on St. Patrick's Day last year...so we reused the green)

SURPRISE! Aubrie, Brandon, Sloan, & Miller are also at Disney. We were able to see them off and on throughout the day at Magic Kingdom.

Day 3: Universal Studios - Bring on Harry Potter & the Roller Coasters!

Day 4: Valentine’s Day - We woke up for some chocolate for breakfast before heading home. 

Overall, it was a wonderful trip & I am so glad we were finally able to go!

First Day of School 2020-2021

Well, we weren't sure we would make it...but here we are!  The kids are going back to school! After missing March-May last year, they cannot wait to get back in the building and see their friends. The boys get to go back school in person and Harper is delayed two weeks.  So, we set up a classroom in the basement so she could do her daily routine with her friend Sullivan.   

Here are a few changes this year: they will be wearing masks all day, eating lunch in their classroom, social distancing (as much as possible) in class - meaning rows, specials in their own classroom, and recess with only their classmates.  We know this year may look different than what they are used to, but it will still be amazing. We cannot wait to see how they grow this year!
