2016 Beach Trip

This spring we hit the road with the Hicklen for our 3rd annual beach trip!
The first time we did this, it was 4 adults and 3 kids.  Now, 4 adults and 6 kids! My how times have changed.  We had a blast in Orange Beach and cannot wait to do it again!
On our way down, we picked up food and let the kids play at an Elementary school playground to get their energy out.  Our car stopped twice the whole way!

Kim and I even had a spa morning with massages for Mother's Day

One morning the guys went golfing, so we loaded up the kids and took them to the splash pad.
It was free, enclosed, and we had it all to our selves!

Muffins with Mom

I got join Harper for our 3rd annual Muffins with Mom at school.  I love getting to spend these little moments with her.  She poured my drink, gave me a muffin, and a plant!  We had a great morning.

I love my mom bc she: let's me stay up longer.

My favorite thing my mom does for me is: makes me food 

I love when she: let's me eat all the fruit snacks, brushes my hair, and does a group hug. 

My moms favorite treat is: m&m's

I want to be with my mom on vacation alone together!!

Rare Adult Time

Josh and I had the fortune of attending two weddings in Florida, two weekends in a row.

Up Next, Brett and Christin's Wedding

We really enjoyed the chance to spend a few days together at the beach.
The next weekend, we headed to the Waves of Grace silent auction and Autism Tennessee silent auction.  At the second event, we danced all night to Rubix Groove.

It has been really nice to have some adult time with friends.

Harper's School Festival

Josh was traveling, so I took the kids to Harper's school festival.  We are like a traveling circus, but I was glad we were able to go.  The boys got to meet their future teachers, Harper saw Cinderella, and we all had a great time!

The Sounds Game

My company had a fun family night at the Sounds Game.  Harper made a bunch of new friends and even made it on the Guitar Jumbo Tron.  I love this new tradition and can't wait to take the boys 

next year.
