Elton John Concert

Josh and I had a fun little night out at the Elton John concert on Friday.  I didn't get many pictures, but I did take a few videos.  It was such a great concert and a fun night out.

Harper's First Gymnastics Class

A few days after Harper turned a year and half, we signed up for Gymnastics class.  There is a gym about 10 minutes from our house that offers an 18M-3 Year old "parent and me" class.  This class is pay as you go, so no obligation to come every week.  Because Harper loves to climb and run around, we thought this might be the perfect fit for her!

At first, she was being a little shy and wanted to completely do her own thing.  Eventually, she got the hang of it and did pretty good for her first class.
We started off with the tumble track

Did a little dancing at the end of the track
Rolled down the wedge, jumped around, and played with numbers
Of course, Harper found a ball and wouldn't let go...even on the trampoline
After the trampoline, we headed up to the foam pit

Harper had a lot of fun throwing the foam blocks back in the pit
Eventually, she joined me in the ball pit
I would say, her first Gymnastics was crazy...but a success!  We had a blast.  This won't be our last class.

Easter Weekend

We kicked off Easter weekend on Friday afternoon with a playdate with the Hicklens.  The weather wasn't great outside, so we set up a mini Easter egg hunt in our living room.  They loved it!
the next day, while I was getting ready for our Easter egg hunt, Harper watched Tinkerbell like this.
Once we were all ready, we went to the Blands for a Friend Easter Egg hunt.
Anna Clare went all out and had (what seemed like) 200 eggs all over her front yard.
There were plenty of eggs...even for the littlest competitor.
Harper's 2013 Egg Hunting Style is to set her basket in the yard, run and collect eggs, open each egg, then drop everything in her basket.  Repeat.
She was so cute opening all her little eggs!
We actually managed to get all 10 of these kiddos sitting, looking, and somewhat smiling.
I couldn't resist a good "parent shot".
A little bounce house fun!
The next morning, the Easter bunny came by the house to see Harper.

She was pretty excited to see all her goodies on the fireplace waiting for her.

Testing out her new potty
Having a little turkey snack. This is a big deal b/c up until now, she has refused to eat turkey at all!
Playing in her Sunday school room
A great Sunday morning!
Oh how I love this sweet baby girl!

Lunch at the Club...such a pretty girl with pretty flowers.

Later that day, we headed over to Bossy and Pawpaw's for our annual Easter Egg hunt.

Overall, we had a wonderful day.  It was so fun to watch Harper have such a fun weekend!  In all this fun, we must not forget the real reason to celebrate!
He is not here;
he has risen, just as he said.
Come and see the place
where he lay.
