Softball Princess

We love a good sporty-princess photoshoot.
Though our softball season was cut short this year (due to Covid-19), it didn't stop this princess from showing us what she is made of.  When we walked on the field for pictures, she said, "man, I have missed this".  We hope we can resume ball in the fall. Until then, I leave you with Softball Princess.

Kitchen Renovation During a Global Pandemic

We had been planning a full kitchen renovation for about 6 months.  We were on the scheduled to start demo while we were in Disney for Spring Break.  Two days before our trip, we found out Disney was shutting down for 4 weeks b/c of how quickly Covid is spreading.  Two days after our kitchen was completely demolished, a "safter in place" order was set by the state/country.  We didn't have a kitchen and didn't know what was going on.  Our crew still wanted to work and we felt fortunate to have them.  For safety reasons, we had the same few people in our home - to help keep the spread of germs to minimum.  The crew managed to work super fast and hard on our home and our overall renovation took 4 weeks.  We worked with amazing people - all while trying to do school in the basement and stay out of the way.  Here are some before and after pictures. 

Quarantine School - April

Basement school is in full effect! We have been doing this for a month now and the kids are doing great. We are using Bossy's TPT account and other resources online.  We have are also avoiding all the construction upstairs, so that's a plus! The principal even stops by! Happy Quarantine!

Easter 2020

Easter looked a little different this year. We are slowly starting to learn more and more about Covid-19.  The unknown can be a little scary.  So we made the most of this Easter and spent our time at Bossy and Pawpaws house.  Harper and Pawpaw did their first tiktok, the EB still managed to come to the house (indoor hunt) and we were able to stream church online. 

Flower Girl & Ring Security

Tonight we had some pretty special visitors...Ally & River.  
They came to ask a very important question to Harper, Gatlin, & Houston.

They asked them to be in their wedding party! 
We love Ally & River and CANNOT wait to celebrate their big day. 

Gatlin & Houston 6 Year Old Well Visit

So things are a little crazy around the country...Covid-19 is out there and we don't really know what's going on.  We do know that need masks for the boys 6-year old well visit.  We don't have any, so we have makeshift bandana masks...they are a few layers thick - but I am so glad the boys were troopers and kept them on!

Front Porch Project - During Covid-19 & Quarantine

During the Covid-19 Quarantine, a lot of people started taking pictures on their porch. #frontporchproject It's a chance to capture this moment in time - where we are spending all our time.  We took these pictures on April 3. The kids had been out of school since March 5 and Josh started working from home on March 19.  We set up homeschool in our basement on March 23 (after Spring Break).  This time is something we never expected and one I don't want to forget.  There has been minimal complaining and these 3 siblings have become real playmates.  We are blessed to be safe and healthy and are praying this all passes soon!
