After Gatlin and Houston were born, it was getting really hard to put Harper to bed. She didn't want to miss out on anything and wanted someone laying in bed with her -- 30 minutes at a minimum. So, we got in a bad habit of giving her milk or water to fall asleep. We realized it was not good for her teeth or bedtime potty training...but we were "surviving". Anyway, one night, we decided to introduce the idea of working for a new scooter. We told Harper if she went to sleep happily without a drink for 5 nights, she would get a scooter. On the 5th day, she walked back to her room after breakfast and there it was! She was so excited.
